You are God's perfect Christmas tree

Just came home from church. I am repeating a wonderful message that I heard in youth group. The title kinda says it all, you are God's perfect Christmas tree! There are 5 ways that explain this thought. No.1 You need to be straight. God says that when you do the things He tells you, He will make you path straight. No.2 God says stand tall when you are going against people who hate you, and that He will help you. No.3 God prunes your sin, and makes you bear lots of fruit. No.4 God makes every person unique in ways, like looks, internal thoughts, personal traits, and different personalities. No.5 God "Decorated" (made) you the way He wanted to, and has a personal relationship with you. Remember these things as we get into the holiday spirit and share this with people that you know.

Making Disciples, Reproducing and Receiving Gods Word Part 1

The first part (of three) is going to be about making disciples, or maybe to some people describing it. Making disciples is hard and long. It usually goes on with one-on-one teaching not with 20 people. I think a lot of us have thought about those HUGE famous people like Francis Chan or Louie Giglio and go "I am not as good as them, I don't have those wonderful talking skills he has. I could never do it." Actually, you do not have to have awesome talking skills or amazing unusual skills to make somebody a disciple. Sometimes it means as simple as just being there for somebody! I don't know exactly where you are in the day, but if you are with friends or somebody you know is not a christian, make disciples always. Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age."

How to be a leader with those who have different privileges than you

Follow instructions from parents, bosses, or anyone who has authority over you. I know some of you will be like "I know that all ready!" or "Why would you choose a topic like this?". Well I am not going to talk about the easy stuff, but I am going to talk about something that sounds easy but is really hard to do. If you have a certain house rule that you can not eat in your room and you have a friend that is allowed to eat in his room. If your friend says "Lets eat in your room!" SAY NO!!! Just because that someone else can do something that you are not allowed to do, doesn't mean you are allowed to. Stick with YOUR house rules and not somebody else's. I hope you will use this guidance to help you. Here is a verse from the bible that is just like what I am talking about. Ex. 20:12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you."

Evolution and The Big Bang are very strange

Sorry it has been a long time since I have posted anything, I just moved not to long ago and school has started so I don't have much time some days. Evolution and The Big Bang theory are strange and confusing. Some things don't make sense, other stuff is just flat out DUMB! Especially the theory that we evolved from monkeys. If we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys in the world? To help show my point, there has never been record showing proof that a primatologist (someone who studies monkeys) has seen a monkey turn into a man.The Big Bang theory is weird as well. To have an explosion (from what we know) you need fuel and some sort gas or something to burn to make an explosion, and since there was nothing in space at the time, that couldn't have happened! What I think is really weird is that they put this stuff in text books! If you don't have proof why put it in something that all the world has to learn. Please send me a note to share if you know anything else about crazy stuff.

SERVING OTHERS!

Serving others is a great thing to do and sometimes fun! Lately my family has been volunteering for concession stand at the Millbrooke Play house ( don't worry I did not do this for the snacks:) ). It has been a fun experience to serve others in that way, but there are so many more ways that you can serve others! It could be from helping the little old lady across the street, or it can be mowing the lawn for other people, and so much more. God wants not only to serve people but He wants you to serve Him. Please do not think that serving is being like a slave, but it is being a servant! I hope this makes you to think about serving other people. Eph 6:7 NIV "Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men"

Joy!!!!!

Todays topic is going to be on joy! On saturday I went to Del Grosso's amusement park to celebrate my 11th birthday! It was an awesome day! I had ALL OF MY FRIENDS in Pennsylvania there and we rode all sorts of rides like bumper cars, spinny rides, huge towers that you go to the top then you drop to the bottom, and lots of other stuff! I had a lot of joy two days ago! You are supposed to have joy in the good time AND THE BAD times, though! I know having joy in the hard times is rough but we need to know that God is in control! That is how I get through the day and can still be happy when things go wrong. I hope you do the same as well. Psalm 66:1 - "Shout with joy to God all the Earth!" NIV

Bunny VS. Raven

Before I get this started I just wanted to let you know that I will from now on use life examples. Now this is a funny story about a bunny and a raven having a battle in OUR front lawn. I know it sounds crazy but it happened 3-4 days ago! A couple of day ago I was in my math class (I do home school on the computer) and I see a bunny and a raven. The raven was going after this hole the bunny made over and over and the bunny chased it away over and over. They did this for an HOUR! In the end the bunny won, don't worry. This reminded me of David and Goliath how they thought David would die but he won with just a fling of a rock and God watching over him. It made me think of that because I THOUGHT that the bunny might die but he did not. God can help us like that. It could be any hard time, not just if you are in a war. I wanted you to know that because I think some people just forget about that and think that they have to do something alone. Don't think that! God is always with you.

Remember

Sorry that I have not posted anything for a long long time. I have been busy with homework friends and other stuff like that so I apologize.

As our title says we need to REMEMBER! We need to remember about God and what he does for us in the good and bad! I think some of us (including me) forget when our day starts bad when we pray (or maybe we don't) He makes it better! We need to remember our teachings that God says through Preachers or Guest Speakers or lessons we learn about faith and how to be a righteous! We need to remember how great is our God who made the universes upon universes. We need to remember that He was the man who died on the cross for OUR sins. We need to remember that He is ALIVE! We need to remember that he put us here on this Earth so that we tell about Him and praise His name until we go to heaven! We need to remember these things not just hear them and forget about them.

Check this out, this song is exactly what I'm talking about! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=te0RcuScwWA

Our God Is ALIVE!!!!!!

This post is going to be about...... Our God Is ALIVE!!!!!!

Now how do you feel after I said that? I'll list some examples of the ways you may feel: Happy, Exited, or maybe you feel like "Yah I knew that, so what?". Now if you are maybe the first two.... good for you! If you were the last one though this post is sure going to help you! Know why I wanted to do this topic? Well I wanted to do it for the people that are like "So What" because I want to tell them WHAT!

Now God wanted me too tell you this (I am not saying I speaking for God but here it goes) I am not a dead God!!! I am certainly alive as much as YOU are. If I was a dead God I would not be God I would be a myth; your praises would mean nothing; your prayers wouldn't be answered, there would be no hope no joy no peace or love. Me dying on the cross would mean nothing It would be like just a regular death. People that say "So What"....How do you feel now? Just think how you feel now. If you think you have been doing stuff secret and thought He was just not going to notice, WELL HE DID cause He is ALIVE! I am going to just leave it at that. Think about what I said and just think about that.

God's Love For US.......

Todays post is going to be about God's love for us because I thought you would like to know a ten year old's perspective of that. He loves us so much (I think we all know that) but He loves us more than you think. The first thing is He loves us so much that for thousands of years He is working in heaven to make it PERFECT for YOU (and Me). Just think about that for a second. He has been working in heaven for thousand of years so that it is PERFECT for YOU and me.

The next thing is that He created a world for us to live in. If you remember from 4th or 5th grade when the teacher would say that we are a PERFECT distance away from the sun because if we moved and bit away from the sun the earth would be freezing cold and if we moved a bit closer to the sun it would be blazing hot. That was God's plan for our earth so that we had perfect temp. I know this world is ful of sin and wrong but we just have to deal with that.

The third thing is that He died on the cross for us. That I think is amazing because we are sinners and WE deserved to be on that cross but God loves us so much that he gave His ONLY son to die for us sinners. Another way of putting it is that he shed His HOLY blood for US! That is a lot of love that God has poured on us but I don't think we think about that much so that is why I write this to you.

Romans 8:38-39 -"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Praising God!

This post is going to be about praising God.

What I think about praising God is that we can never praise Him enough. Say at church and we finish the songs and sermon and we have this speedometer to rate how good of a job we did we would be in the negatives cause we can NEVER praise Him enough to the point were we can not even get to the number 0! We can't get there because we are sinners from the beginning. Even though we are sinners and we praise him not enough He appreciates it, but we shouldn't take it for granted. Even though we can't get above zero doesn't mean we quit! Praise Him! Don't just wait till Sunday to praise him, praise him EVERYDAY! We need to stop taking it for granted and start praising Him.

I Chronicles 16:36 - "Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Then all the people said "Amen" and "Praise the LORD."
